The Trundle rolls on 6 casters for easy rolling on carpet or hard surface floors and it takes a shorter mattress but they are available. Mattress is 38" x 68". If you have a foam supplier I have found that the 6" firm foam makes an ideal mattress for this bed. You can get 8 or 10" thick that is your call.
